- Handing oneself over to a Sheikh is the only way to learn submission to authority.
- In worldly fields, we find no issue in praising and respecting leaders of respective fields. In the same way, the Sheikh is the source of one’s Islaah and Deen and should also be respected.
- Mashaayikh teach us to fulfill the rights of those who have rights over us. First comes Allah, then Nabi ﷺ, then one’s parents, then one’s Asaatiza, and then the Sheikh.
