As a result, after spending some time in the company of the pious Mashayikh, spiritual sicknesses get cured and the heart gets filled with the love for Allah ﷻ.
If a piece of iron remains close to a magnet, the magnetic field of the magnet affects the iron piece, which then becomes magnetised and develops the magnetic properties itself.
Similarly, when a person remains in the company of those who love Allah ﷻ, the ‘magnetism’ of the love of Allah ﷻ influences him and his heart gets filled with the love of Allah ﷻ as well.
